Role & Responsibilities

  • Own the entire QA lifecycle from planning to deployment, including manual, automation, and process-related tasks
  • Ensure bug leakage to production is close to zero and act as the last line of defense
  • Build and enforce QA processes across all projects including bug definitions, test plans, checklists, and documentation
  • Collaborate closely with PMs, Developers, and Clients to ensure quality is never compromised
  • Mentor and manage both full-time and freelance QA team members across multiple projects
  • Spot CR or add-on opportunities through detailed bug analysis and edge-case testing
  • Suggest and implement AI tools or automation to improve speed, coverage, and bug detection
  • Make sure processes are followed and raise concerns if they are not
  • Work with developers to define and track QA metrics like developer vs bugs, task QA trajectory, and missed scenarios
  • Designing test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures.
  • Executing tests on source code.
  • Analyzing test results and reporting to the development team.
  • Working with the development team to correct bugs and errors.
  • Performing routine inspections and quality tests.
  • Preparing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures.
  • Identifying and resolving workflow and production issues.
  • Ensuring that standards and safety regulations are observed.
  • Addressing and discussing issues and proposed solutions with superiors.
  • Documenting quality assurance activities and creating audit reports.
  • Making recommendations for improvement.
  • Creating training materials and operating manuals.

We will be even happier if you have:

  • 4+ years of QA experience in a software development environment
  • Solid understanding of QA workflows, ClickUp or Jira, and test documentation practices
  • Hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing with tools like Selenium and Postman
  • Skilled in cross-browser testing, responsive design testing, and API validations
  • Exposure to AI-based QA tools or enthusiasm for integrating AI in QA
  • Comfortable creating QA health reports and defining metrics
